چکیده

The rapid availability of effective vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 was key during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, vaccine hesitancy and relatively low coverage rates among general population particularly vulnerable populations such as healthcare staff reduced potential benefits these vaccines. During early phase pandemic, fear vaccine-related adverse events common individuals who refused vaccination. Between March May 2021, we comparatively assessed self-reported reactogenicity different prime-boost regimens using mRNA-based (BNT162b2 mRNA-1273) vector-based (ChAdOx1 nCoV-19) in (a) workers (HCW), (b) police from southwest Germany. majority participants (71.8%; 1564/2176) received a homologous Among HCW, 75.0% were female, whereas 70.0% male. most frequently reported reactions following first administration pain at injection site (77.94%; 1696/2176), tiredness (51.75%; 1126/2176), headache (40.44%; 880/2176), which more commonly by HCW compared to staff. In homologous, heterologous vaccination schedules, after second dose. We conclude that frequency intensity self-perceived may differ between specific groups might be mitigated tailored communication strategies.

Seroprevalence of anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibody in healthcare workers: A report from Rafsanjan, Iran

Background: Healthcare workers (HCWs) have a high risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Seroprevalence studies can provide related data on HCWs who have a history of infections. According to numerous seroepidemiological reports of COVID-19 in different groups and the lack of seroepidemiological reports of COVID-19 in HCWs in Rafsanjan, the aim of this study was to determine the SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalenc...
